MOTION: I'm New To ThisSample

Friends who are pursuing Jesus is one of the most important things in the world for our relationship with God. You can sometimes get in a place where you feel like you are in a rut and nothing is going right. On those days having friends around you can be the most encouraging thing in the world for you. It is crazy how on your worst day spiritually, God can speak through your friends to give you a word of encouragement. Having the right type of friend can help you on the night where FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) sets in, and when you see that some of your friends are at a party that you used to attend. You might not have those friends right now that you need now, but you can use today to pray for those friends and lean into Jesus. If you already have the right friends, make sure you spend time with them and talk about what God is doing in your life, what is hard in life, and how they can be praying for you! 

A good way to follow Jesus and build your relationship with Him is to get in a small group at your local church or to find a teacher or parent who follows Jesus. Today, put some effort to have friends who are pursuing Jesus too. They can come alongside you and help you understand the Bible, help you learn more about how to get closer to Jesus, and help in your day-to-day life.
