This is a call to enter the fray wherever God has placed you. The particular fronts may change. The hottest spots of the battle may shift over the years, but fight we must. 

Remember, false prophets don’t usually dress up like they crashed into a Hot Topic shop. They aren’t in permanent Halloween mode (most of them). They go to church, they go to small groups, they have big families, they are pro-life Republicans, they dig Christian education, and they know about Reformed theology. So the followers of Jesus must be vigilant and fearless. 

We are at war with all idols and the sinful clutches people have on their idols. We insist on describing sin in all of its disgusting vulgarity because Jesus really was flayed alive and suffered hell for that sin. And He really did rise up triumphant over that sin, conquering the curse of death and darkness and putting His enemies under His feet. Some people may call that harsh, but we call it love.
