Demolition!

Joshua and his army needed to win the battle for the city of Jericho. God had told them what to do and it sounded crazy. Will they try God’s way?

To find out, read Joshua, chapter 6, verses 12 to 16 and verse 20, if you haven’t already done so.

Did they capture the city?

Did they do it God’s way?

What do you think caused the walls to fall?  An earthquake? The faith of God’s people? A miracle?

In our world, what are the ‘walls’ that need to be broken down for God?

God’s way of doing things sometimes seems odd – but the story of Jericho shows what happens when his people obey Him.

Pray. Talk with God about things in the world that are not the way God would want them. Ask God to show you what you can do to break down those ‘walls’.
