Trending: When You Are HurtingSample

Have you ever had a friend be there for you during a difficult time in your life? Maybe after a breakup, or a failed test, or a bad decision, or even just during a tough day at school? If you have, then you know how good it feels to have someone in your corner during moments like that. It brings you comfort right when you need it. And believe it or not, that’s exactly the way God designed it to be. He created us to live in community together—to walk with each other and comfort each other during hard times. Do you have a friend or loved one in your life who is going through something challenging or difficult? This week, find a way to show up and comfort them with the same comfort both others and God have given to you.
NOTE: If you feel you are in crisis, reach out to a trusted adult, small group leader, coach, teacher, counselor, or call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. It is a free, 24-hour hotline, at 1.800.273.TALK (8255).
