Day Twenty-Two: Ezekiel 48-Amos 9
The Prophets all have unique historical situations into which they prophesy. They are the Guardians of the Law, the conscience of the nation, and continually reminding the people of God’s plan for them.
The Prophets are outlaws, unpopular with the ruling classes who have completely forgotten God and Moses’s books. The Prophets live in constant fear for their life as they have to carry God’s words to those who can kill them.
