How To Seek The Kingdom Of God?

DAY 1 OF 7

Seek and you will find!

Together, we’re going to (re)discover this famous passage, in which Jesus reminds us that everything is found in God:

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (see Matthew 6:33)

I invite you to ask yourself this question today: what are you seeking?

Are you seeking to…

  • Build a balanced and thriving marriage,
  • Raise your children so that they’ll know Jesus,
  • Prosper in your professional affairs,
  • Deepen your friendships,
  • Support your family…?

In all, are you seeking to be happy?

All these things are legitimate, good, and approved by God: He encourages you and wants to give you access to them. In fact, His will is to be your first source of blessings.

Quite often, we think that happiness is outside of us and depends on circumstances. Deep down, we think, “Once I can access this, I will be happier…” But God wants to teach us that the only true giver of happiness is Him. That’s why we must seek Him first.

In His first sermon called “The Sermon on the Mount” (see Matthew 5:1-48), Jesus said “blessed” nine times; the Greek word for “blessed,” “makarios,” also means “happy.”This is a state that can only be fully experienced through a deep relationship with the Creator of our souls.

You are complete in Him (see Colossians 2:10), and in Him you live, move, and have your being (see Acts 17:28). I invite you to seek Him passionately and let Him find you.

And what’s interesting, too, is that if God invites us to seek Him first...on His side, it’s you He seeks first.

Thanks for existing!

Day 2

About this Plan

How To Seek The Kingdom Of God?

I believe that this next week we have together will be wonderful! We’re starting a series of 7 texts to learn how to seek the Kingdom of God, based on Matthew 6:33. We are all seeking more, and we all have expectations for our lives: to be happy, to succeed professionally and personally, to be healthy, to overcome our limits, etc.
