Team Building
Step 2 | Loving as Brothers
The second element the Apostle Peter mentioned for a harmonious team is “loving as brothers.”
One day in 6th grade, I was surrounded by an angry group of opposing baseball players. Soon, I was on the ground being thrashed by another 6th grader due to foolish boasting.
Suddenly, I heard a blood curdling scream as my younger brother Terry leaped on the back of my assailer. Even though Terry had no idea why I was being attacked, he jumped into the fray, because he was my brother and he had my back!
Proverbs 17:17 teaches, “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”
If you want a harmonious team, remember to love your teammates as a brother who has their back.
