Today’s verse was written during a time of trouble and war. It wasn’t a gentle suggestion. It was a command from God to His people. Another way to translate, “Be still” would read, “snap out of it”, “wake up”, or “stop fearing” and acknowledge who your God is and be in awe!  

As you face problems this season, try a different approach and prayer strategy. Instead of telling God how big your problems are, tell your problems how big your God is.
