Elisha predicted an outcome that seemed impossible. It’s not surprising that someone would not believe that such a difficult situation could be reversed.
God can reverse any situation. He doesn’t do so every time or we would come to expect it. God gets the credit because His obvious intervention is rare. If you need a miracle, don’t think that it is impossible, but don’t believe it will happen every time either.

Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one epic story of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection.
