Epic (Part 3): The Storyline Of The BibleSample

Nehemiah makes his request of the king and is sent to Jerusalem. When he arrives there, he makes a careful study of the condition of the walls and begins to rally support for building the walls. Nehemiah is not only a great example of prayer, he is also a great example of leadership. Too often people rush into solving a problem before it is understood. We will continue to see Nehemiah’s wisdom in leadership in the remainder of his story.

About this Plan

This is part three of a four part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one epic story of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
