Who Is God?Sample

God reveals himself to us
Yesterday we saw that we can’t fully know God because he is far greater and vastly different to us. But God does make himself known to us in a way that we have the capacity to understand. We won’t know all there is to know about God but we can know what he chooses to reveal to us. (Is 65:1).
God made himself known by appearing in Jesus. John was an eyewitness to Jesus – he heard, saw and touched him. Through the testimony of John and other eyewitnesses, we too can know God and have fellowship with him.
Do you care about knowing God? Why/ Why not?
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for revealing yourself throughout history in a way we can comprehend. Thank you for sending Jesus to the world that we might know you. Stir my desires to know you – that I would not be content but seek to explore the riches of who you are. Amen.
