God’s Foundation for the Christian FamilySample
The word “house,” is often used in the Bible, but most of the time, it is not actually referring to a physical building with rooms and a roof, but to the family that resides in that home.
Just like the building we live in, the family that lives in that house also needs a strong foundation. The foundation of a building provides stability and strength, while the family, itself, needs a foundation for security and love. In homes, we often use wood, cement, or other sturdy materials for this foundation. With families, the foundation needs to be made of something even stronger. Our families should be built on solid rock - on God, Himself.
As Christians, God provides us with three critical elements for building the foundation of our families on Him, our solid rock. We will dive into these elements during the next 3 days. Today, consider this: What is the foundation your family is built on?
