Joshua - RestSample

What are our spiritual blessings? According to Ephesians chapter 1, Jesus followers are:
- Chosen before the foundation of the World (v.4)
- Made holy and blameless (v.4)
- Predestined for adoption (v.5)
- Loved and accepted in Jesus (v.6)
- Redeemed and forgiven by His blood (v.7)
- Given inexhaustible grace (v.7,8)
- Made to know the mystery of God’s will (v.9)
- Given an eternal Inheritance (v.11)
- Hearing and believing the Word of Truth (v.13)
- Sealed with the Holy Spirit (v.13)
This is the individual inheritance and personal calling of Jesus followers. This is the land in which we are to walk, claim, develop, maintain, and find rest. It is not a physical inheritance like the Israelites had. It is a spiritual one. We know that we are planted in God’s spiritual blessings when we produce spiritual fruit.
Challenge:
- Memorize Joshua 22:5
- Where are you planted?
- What fruit is being produced in you?
About this Plan

“The war is over - God has given your brothers rest.” We also have an inheritance, and the war is over. Jesus won every battle on the cross. This plan covers the central theme of Joshua - Love God and serve Him if you want to enjoy His blessings. This stand-alone plan is also part 9 of a 10 part series.
