Joshua - DisciplineSample

Jesus is our Word, our mana, our Bread of Life come down from Heaven. We are to depend on Him every day.
This is more than a casual dip into a Bible devotion every once in a while.
Bible study is the daily anointing of your heart and mind with the living Word of God.
It is more than personal experience to fill an individual need. When Jesus fed the multitudes, they followed him because they liked having full bellies. When He told them to consume all that He is and let Him work His will in their lives, many fell away.
Being fed is a good start, but it is not the end goal. The end goal is to glorify God so that others will do the same. We are to eat spiritual food and share it with others.
A blocked stream of water becomes a stagnant cesspool.
Manna from Heaven becomes foul rot if we try to store it up for ourselves.
Challenge:
- Memorize Ephesians 3:20
- Apply the scriptures as you study them today.
About this Plan

Israel left Egypt as freed slaves, not warriors. God spent the next forty years refining them to become more than warriors. God's warrior has three disciplines: Bible Study, Prayer, and Worship. This in-depth stand-alone plan is also part 4 of a 10 part series.
