DC: Thoroughly Equipped-- God the FatherSample

DAY TWO
It’s been said that God created man in His image—and we like to return the favor. But our efforts to think about God are inevitably shaped by our experience in His world—in particular, our relationships with key people in our lives. For example, how has your relationship with your father affected your view of God? What other factors have influenced your understanding of God the Father?
Let’s continue to ground our understanding of God in His revelation to us through the Scriptures. Read the following passages and identify the picture/reality of God given there. Notice what is striking about each of these descriptions in today's Scriptures.
About this Plan

As C.S. Lewis said, we’re all theologians; everybody has ideas about God. The question is whether you’re a good theologian or a bad theologian! In this six-day plan, you will have an opportunity to improve your “theology”—your understanding of God the Father.
