ENCOUNTER WITH LORD JESUS

God provides His mercy to anyone who fears Him. In this context, mercy means that wherever the person goes, God will always be with him.

Jacob was known as a deceitful person. Even his name means cheater. But an encounter with God caused Jacob to be changed to be a God fearing-man. Living a life fearing God gives Jacob God’s favour and blessings in all the ways of his life. Fearing God is knowing that God examines every detail of our life.

The encounter with God was an important moment in Jacob’s life because it is where Jacob received guidance from the Lord. Not only experiencing God’s presence, but we also need to listen to what God is saying to us. We listen to all kinds of news every day. Everywhere we go we find news about the world, our country, or of celebrities. But remember, it is more important to listen to the news from God or from heaven.   

The news from God is unending information that will tell us what to prepare for, what to do now and for the future. The news from God will change our life and lead us to a better future. When we live our life with faith, trying to please God in all we do and living in the fear of God, we will surely hear from Him. 

Let us wait upon the Lord because His promise is given to those whose lives are pleasing to Him. 

Every encounter with The Lord Jesus Christ will bring a new hope.
