Daily Bible Reading – February 2020 God’s Life-Giving Word Of LoveSample

February 10
Introduction
In today’s reading, ten men are healed by Jesus, but only a foreigner returns to thank Him.
Today’s Scripture: Luke 17:19
And Jesus said to him, “Get up and go; your faith has made you well.”
Today’s Reading
Luke 17:11-19
Reflect
One of the ten men healed is identified as a Samaritan. As in yesterday’s reading (Luke 10:25-37), is there significance to this person being identified as such? What did Jesus say to the Samaritan when he returned to thank him (verse 19)? What are your thoughts about the nine men who did not return to thank Jesus? What are your thoughts about the role of faith with regard to healing?
Pray
Lord Jesus, I thank and praise you for your saving love and healing presence. With a heart filled with gratitude, I worship you. Amen.
