7 Days of Praise: Praying Through Psalm 150 Sample

Day 1 – We Shout Our Praise
As we pray through Psalm 150 and begin with the first verse, along with the psalmist we shout out our praise: “Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens!” (150:1).
Father God, we who have come to You through Jesus Christ enter Your sanctuary with reverence and stand before Your throne without fear—for it is a throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16)! Heavenly Father, we praise You for who You are and how You love. How grateful we are for Your grace! Let all heaven and earth praise Your great name!
About this Plan

As we praise God today, let's keep in mind the heavenly worship service we'll one day take part in: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain . . . !” (see Revelation 5:11-12). Here's how we praise, says Charles Spurgeon: “We simply say what [God] is! ‘You are this and You are that.’ There is no other praise.” Why not invite friends and family to “join the chorus” with you?
