Book of JobSample

THE LABOR OF THE RIGHTEOUS
The psalmist saw the life of the wicked man who walks in his own view. He seems to have a prosperous, good life, free to do anything he wants while the righteous must strive to keep his life right and clean, having restraint in all actions.
Yet, the Lord has provided us with a reward, as the Apostle Paul said, that the suffering which we experience is temporary and cannot be compared with the eternal joy that will be ours.
Job said that the one who keeps his life right, walks in the right path and keeps his heart clean, will become stronger.
Why, then, should we have everything but have no power to enjoy it? Enjoying life is not because of luxurious facilities, but because we walk with God, the source of the life, Himself.
David said it would be better for only one day in God's presence than a thousand days elsewhere.
The suffering we experience is temporary and cannot be compared with the eternal joy that will be ours.
