Welcome to “Jesus In All Of Matthew”

At Spoken Gospel, we believe that you can encounter Jesus on every page of Scripture. This is a life-changing belief, whether you are in the Old Testament, Epistles, or the Gospel accounts themselves. 

It is our hope that, over the next 21 days, you will see the book of Matthew like you have never seen it before. 

Throughout your journey, you will read a total of 28 chapters, taking you all the way through the book of Matthew. 

Along your journey, you will read 21 devotionals. These short devotionals (they only take about 3-4 minutes to read) will seek to do three things for you, designated by three headings. 

1. What’s Happening? 

This section explains what is going on in the text. 

2. Where is Jesus? 

This section shows how this story ultimately points to Jesus and his Gospel. 

3. See For Yourself

This is a short, Trinitarian prayer meant to propel you into Scripture to see the good news of Jesus for yourself. 

Today you will watch an introduction we at Spoken Gospel have made to the book of Matthew.

Tomorrow you will read Matthew 1:1-17 along with your first devotional.
