Telling someone the truth isn’t always easy. When it’s hard, or difficult, or painful, we all would probably rather run away than face the conversation. If we do decide to have the conversation, having it with love is an extra challenge.
The good news is that the more we do this—the more we put ourselves out there to be honest in a real and loving way—the more we’ll become like Jesus. Today, write down some of the qualities about Jesus that you want to develop in your own life.
Remember, each time you choose to tell the truth in love, you are becoming more and more like Jesus who has the qualities you wrote down on that paper.
