Gifted to Serve

In America, we usually think about gifts as things to get us noticed especially since the airing of shows like American Idol, The Voice, and America’s Got Talent. God has gifted us all in different ways, so we each can meet different needs, like members in a body performing different functions.

Our gifts are for serving others and like the good and faithful servant in Matthew 25 we can’t hide them away, but develop them and use them in the world to reap a reward for the Kingdom.

Goal:

What gifts has God given you? (think about both physical and spiritual gifts) How can you use them to serve others? How can you work to develop those gifts to be better suited to meet the needs around you?
