Scattered: Doing Life as the Ministry Sent OutSample

The events of the last few weeks have demonstrated just how quickly the world can change. The pace of that change can produce anxiety and panic. Just remember that the world can change that fast for the good as well!
The church has not ceased to exist, it’s only ceased to meet in a gathered mode. The church, SCATTERED, is not a new concept, it's just new to us.
While the cause of the scattering is not the same, let’s hope and pray that the results will be the same. The gospel will be preached, and towns will be glad that the gospel is preached in them. Here are some things to consider as we are all SCATTERED during these days.
• Remember that this didn’t take God by surprise!
• Remind yourself that He has a purpose even in this seemingly hard time of upheaval and disruption of your life!
• Resist the temptation to feel sorry for what you have lost!
• Search out new ways to share with those in your local community how the Lord has been working in your life!
• Share the gospel with non-believers who might also be home from their universities
• Stay connected with your connection groups, churches in your university city, and your new local churches back home via online resources
• Steadfastly pray for a swift end to the outbreak and serve your family, your friends, and your community with your extra time!
Live a life of hope and faith, resisting the urge to be fearful and isolated!

About this Plan

Life has changed in early 2020! We have been SCATTERED from our usual location of communities of faith due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Can we find a purpose in the disruption? Is this the first time God's people have been SCATTERED? What can we learn from this season of disruption? Could God have a greater purpose for the church during this season?
