The Whole Story: A Life in God's Kingdom, Part FourSample

Family Devotional:
Spending time with God is influential at every level of the human experience. It’s easy to assume that spending time with the Lord is beneficial for one’s spiritual journey, but would it shock you to know it can also have a positive physical impact? In today’s reading, Moses’ time spent with God impacted him so deeply that people could literally see it on his face. It positively affected the way people perceived him. The power of God has this kind of transformative impact. When we spend time with God, people may not know precisely what is different, but there will be a noticeable, exciting change to the way a believer lives their life.
Daily Demonstration:
A great place to start is to analyze how we are spending time with God. This doesn’t always have to be an intimate moment – you can spend God in your car, in your office, and even in conversation with others! Now, begin to think about how time spent with God changes you. Consider pursuing other opportunities to spend time with the Lord and, like Moses, watch how even your physical character begins to change!
