Pressure is a part of life. It is absolutely a part of the Christian journey. God can use us, grow us, and increase our capacity in the middle of this pressure. The disciples did what Jesus asked them to do, even though it didn’t make sense to them in the moment. This obedience made a way for Jesus to do what God had asked him to do as well. Following Jesus does not mean absolute clarity, but it does mean absolute obedience.
Questions:
1. Has God ever asked you to do something you didn’t want to do or didn’t understand?
2. What is one thing God is asking you to do “under pressure” that could lead to healing, peace, or Salvation for someone else?
