We're following Jesus together and doing all he wants for an awakening. It's that commitment, that's where it starts but it also leads to a greater spiritual temperature as we give God access to our life as the Holy Spirit fills us and empowers us. Then we want to increase the right stuff in our lives like prayer and fasting, and spending time in God's word.
God's going to bring new normals and that's part of awakening. When you hunger for awakening, you're saying you don't want the status quo, but that you want something better.

When you hear the word awakening, think of two things: awakening is about followers of Jesus experiencing revival, but it's also about people coming to know the Lord. That's why awakening is more broad than revival.
