Seeing God: Job’s Suffering and God’s WisdomSample
Day 3: In My World—He Cares
Consider
As God continued to question Job, He moved from the cosmos to individual details about creation on Earth. With each example, God reminded Job that He’s paying attention. If God knows about the habits and concerns of wild animals, how much more present is He with us—those created in His own image and designed with the specific purpose of dwelling with Him?
Consider some of these creatures God mentions in Job 38-41. How do you see God’s care for His creation? Do you believe that same care extends to you? What does that mean for your everyday life if God truly cares about you with such great attention?
Pray
Father, Your love is so complete, and we know that our perspective is so limited. Guide us through Your Spirit to understand the depth of Your care, and grant us the courage to trust You even when we can’t see beyond our own pain.
