GO2020 | ENGAGE: April Week 4 - SHARESample

April 30—God’s Proclaimers
Read
1 Peter 2:9
Reflect
Read 1 Peter 2:9 a couple of times. What does the apostle Peter say about God’s people in this verse? Compare and contrast this description with what the apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 1:26-29. What is the purpose to which we are called? How are you fulfilling your God-given purpose?
Engage
Read today’s Scripture passage. Say or write it out in your own words, considering the following questions:
· What does it say about God?
· What does it say about us?
· Is there a promise to trust?
· Is there a command to obey?
· How will I apply this Scripture to my life?
· Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth?
Memorize
Now read this week’s memory verse, Matthew 24:14. Spend a few minutes working to memorize it.

About this Plan

This week we will discover God’s plan to mobilize mission so that the whole world will know the name of Jesus. His plan from the very beginning was for his people to make him known among the nations. The church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, has been commissioned to make disciples of every nation.
