As Christians, love is our way of life. Actions may imitate love. However, it’s the condition of the heart that honors God. A heart filled with the love of God governs our lives. The power of love transcends our fleshly inclinations and regulates our decisions and actions. When God’s love is fully operational in our lives, it guides us and directs our path. It is the power of love that aligns us with God’s Word.
