River Valley Church SOAP - Part 7Sample

Psalm 37 breaks off from most of the others by not being about prayer or praise, but rather about teaching. This is considered a “sermon Psalm” and talks directly to the perceived injustice of the righteous suffering and the unrighteous prospering. We are reminded that those who serve God have their salvation secure, while those who may prosper unrighteously will be awaited with trouble and ultimately separation from God in the next life.
