The Bible Quarantine by Nick Hall - Week 2 Sample

The Bible Quarantine: Episode 11 – Wash Your Hands, Don’t Be an Idiot!
SCRIPTURE: 1 Peter 2:11-25
This is a crazy cultural moment—let’s make the most of it. Part of that means listening and honoring and serving those who God has placed over us—even if obedience is hard or we don’t agree.
We’re called to be the church, and we model the life of the church when we honor the authorities God has placed over us.
How do we make the most of this moment?
1. Focus on growing yourself. If you have more time, then learn something new! Focus on growing your faith or deepening your relationship with God. This is a God-given opportunity to grow.
2. Unplug. Don’t fill your life with noise (as if there wasn’t enough of that already). Simplify. Be still and know that He is God.
3. Focus on how you can be a servant. How can you serve, love, and help others?
Why not make a priority list—what should you treasure most and take care of first each day? Make a list to help you spend your time well. Let’s make the most of this time together.
