There Is Power in the Name of JesusSample

Jesus is the Mighty God!
Today, we’re continuing our discovery of the names of the Son of God given to us in the Word. “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given...And His name will be called...Mighty God…” Isaiah 9:6
God knows your strengths as well as your weaknesses. He knows that you need to be protected and defended, like a castle under siege by its enemies...He knows that you can’t always be strong, and that’s why He is strong, mighty, for you.
In what areas of life do you feel weak?
- Do you need God to renew your physical strength? He promises to do so…“He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.” Isaiah 40:29
- Do you need to be encouraged and strengthened emotionally? God can do this for you…“Come to Me, you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
- Are you living in fear of the future, yours or your children’s? The Mighty God declares, “...‘Surely it will be well with your remnant…” Jeremiah 15:11
Your God is a mighty God!
You are a miracle!
About this Plan

In this reading plan we will look at different names for the Son of God from the book of Isaiah. In the Old Testament, the prophet Isaiah announced the birth of Jesus, about 700 years before His birth. Different names are used for Him and each of these names reveals something of the heart of the Father. Written by Eric Celerier for A Miracle Every Day.
