Shiny InfluenceSample

What Are You Supposed to Do With Influence, Anyway?
Okay, so hopefully you’re starting to believe that you are a person of influence. Whoever is around you—your family, your friends, your baseball team, your drama club—those are the people Jesus wants you to lead. But, how?
Watch this video with friend of The Loop Show, James. He’ll help you sort out what to do with all that shiny influence!
Got it? Use what you have, what you think, and who you are to influence those around you to become more and more like Jesus! Remember: it’s not about building up your “brand.” It’s about building other people up.
Ask yourself: Who can I build up?
Challenge yourself: In today’s video, James challenged you to find just one person you can help. Choose that person. Decide today what you can do to help them out and to build them up. Make sure you do the thing you decide you can do as often as possible. Start today!
Pray: God, thank You for giving me influence. Thank You that it’s not just so that I can win friends and followers, but it’s so that I can lead people closer to You and build them up. Help me to be someone who’s known for being an encourager. In Jesus’ name, amen.
