We are Crowned

The angels in Heaven were created with a purpose: some as messengers, and others worshipping at the throne of Almighty God. We were also made in the image of God for a purpose. In God’s creation, the stars were not honored with crowns. His creatures were not crowned. Heavenly angels are not crowned but we, God’s image bearers, have been crowned! The placement of a crown on one’s head signified a setting apart for a particular task and indicating a presence of honor. The Holy God of Heaven and earth has crowned us with glory and honor. What a concept to behold!



Prayer: We worship your majesty, Lord. We exalt the name of Jesus. We magnify and glorify Your Name. Glory and honor and praise be to You. You alone are worthy of our praise and worship. May we fulfill Your purpose.
