My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. You have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.&#8221; </span></span><span class="verse v9" data-usfm="JOB.42.9"><span class="label">9</span><span class="content">So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite did what the </span><span class="nd"><span class="content">Lord</span></span><span class="content"> told them; and the </span><span class="nd"><span class="content">Lord</span></span><span class="content"> accepted Job&#8217;s prayer.</span></span></div><div class="p"><span class="verse v9" data-usfm="JOB.42.9"><span class="content">  </span></span><span class="verse v10" data-usfm="JOB.42.10"><span class="label">10</span><span class="content">After Job had prayed for his friends, the </span><span class="nd"><span class="content">Lord</span></span><span class="content"> restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. </span></span><span class="verse v11" data-usfm="JOB.42.11"><span class="label">11</span><span class="content">All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the </span><span class="nd"><span class="content">Lord</span></span><span class="content"> had brought on him, and each one gave him a piece of silver</span><span class="note f"><span class="label">#</span><span class=" body"><span class="fr">42:11 </span><span class="ft">Hebrew </span><span class="fqa">him a kesitah</span><span class="ft">; a kesitah was a unit of money of unknown weight and value.</span></span></span><span class="content"> and a gold ring.</span></span></div><div class="p"><span class="verse v11" data-usfm="JOB.42.11"><span class="content">  </span></span><span class="verse v12" data-usfm="JOB.42.12"><span class="label">12</span><span class="content">The </span><span class="nd"><span class="content">Lord</span></span><span class="content"> blessed the latter part of Job&#8217;s life more than the former part. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys. </span></span><span class="verse v13" data-usfm="JOB.42.13"><span class="label">13</span><span class="content">And he also had seven sons and three daughters. </span></span><span class="verse v14" data-usfm="JOB.42.14"><span class="label">14</span><span class="content">The first daughter he named Jemimah, the second Keziah and the third Keren-Happuch. </span></span><span class="verse v15" data-usfm="JOB.42.15"><span class="label">15</span><span class="content">Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job&#8217;s daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers.</span></span></div><div class="p"><span class="verse v15" data-usfm="JOB.42.15"><span class="content">  </span></span><span class="verse v16" data-usfm="JOB.42.16"><span class="label">16</span><span class="content">After this, Job lived a hundred and forty years; he saw his children and their children to the fourth generation. </span></span><span class="verse v17" data-usfm="JOB.42.17"><span class="label">17</span><span class="content">And so Job died, an old man and full of years.</span></span></div>

And Haran became the father of Lot. </span></span><span class="verse v28" data-usfm="GEN.11.28"><span class="label">28</span><span class="content">While his father Terah was still alive, Haran died in Ur of the Chaldeans, in the land of his birth. </span></span><span class="verse v29" data-usfm="GEN.11.29"><span class="label">29</span><span class="content">Abram and Nahor both married. The name of Abram&#8217;s wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor&#8217;s wife was Milkah; she was the daughter of Haran, the father of both Milkah and Iskah. </span></span><span class="verse v30" data-usfm="GEN.11.30"><span class="label">30</span><span class="content">Now Sarai was childless because she was not able to conceive.</span></span></div><div class="p"><span class="verse v30" data-usfm="GEN.11.30"><span class="content">  </span></span><span class="verse v31" data-usfm="GEN.11.31"><span class="label">31</span><span class="content">Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and together they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canaan. But when they came to Harran, they settled there.</span></span></div><div class="p"><span class="verse v31" data-usfm="GEN.11.31"><span class="content">  </span></span><span class="verse v32" data-usfm="GEN.11.32"><span class="label">32</span><span class="content">Terah lived 205 years, and he died in Harran.</span></span></div>

Then Peter said, &#8220;Look at us!&#8221; </span></span><span class="verse v5" data-usfm="ACT.3.5"><span class="label">5</span><span class="content">So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.</span></span></div><div class="p"><span class="verse v5" data-usfm="ACT.3.5"><span class="content">  </span></span><span class="verse v6" data-usfm="ACT.3.6"><span class="label">6</span><span class="content">Then Peter said, &#8220;Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.&#8221; </span></span><span class="verse v7" data-usfm="ACT.3.7"><span class="label">7</span><span class="content">Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man&#8217;s feet and ankles became strong. </span></span><span class="verse v8" data-usfm="ACT.3.8"><span class="label">8</span><span class="content">He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. </span></span><span class="verse v9" data-usfm="ACT.3.9"><span class="label">9</span><span class="content">When all the people saw him walking and praising God, </span></span><span class="verse v10" data-usfm="ACT.3.10"><span class="label">10</span><span class="content">they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.</span></span></div><div class="s1"><span class="heading">Peter Speaks to the Onlookers</span></div><div class="p"><span class="verse v10" data-usfm="ACT.3.10"><span class="content">  </span></span><span class="verse v11" data-usfm="ACT.3.11"><span class="label">11</span><span class="content">While the man held on to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon&#8217;s Colonnade. </span></span><span class="verse v12" data-usfm="ACT.3.12"><span class="label">12</span><span class="content">When Peter saw this, he said to them: &#8220;Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? </span></span><span class="verse v13" data-usfm="ACT.3.13"><span class="label">13</span><span class="content">The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go. </span></span><span class="verse v14" data-usfm="ACT.3.14"><span class="label">14</span><span class="content">You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. </span></span><span class="verse v15" data-usfm="ACT.3.15"><span class="label">15</span><span class="content">You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. </span></span><span class="verse v16" data-usfm="ACT.3.16"><span class="label">16</span><span class="content">By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.</span></span></div><div class="s1"><span class="heading">The Judgment of Satan</span></div><div class="p"><span class="verse v6" data-usfm="REV.20.6"><span class="content">  </span></span><span class="verse v7" data-usfm="REV.20.7"><span class="label">7</span><span class="content">When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison </span></span><span class="verse v8" data-usfm="REV.20.8"><span class="label">8</span><span class="content">and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth&#8212;Gog and Magog&#8212;and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. </span></span><span class="verse v9" data-usfm="REV.20.9"><span class="label">9</span><span class="content">They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God&#8217;s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. </span></span><span class="verse v10" data-usfm="REV.20.10"><span class="label">10</span><span class="content">And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.</span></span></div><div class="s1"><span class="heading">The Judgment of the Dead</span></div><div class="p"><span class="verse v10" data-usfm="REV.20.10"><span class="content">  </span></span><span class="verse v11" data-usfm="REV.20.11"><span class="label">11</span><span class="content">Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. </span></span><span class="verse v12" data-usfm="REV.20.12"><span class="label">12</span><span class="content">And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. </span></span><span class="verse v13" data-usfm="REV.20.13"><span class="label">13</span><span class="content">The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. </span></span><span class="verse v14" data-usfm="REV.20.14"><span class="label">14</span><span class="content">Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. </span></span><span class="verse v15" data-usfm="REV.20.15"><span class="label">15</span><span class="content">Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.</span></span></div>
