Walk Through The Bible 365 - FebruarySample

Are You Listening?
There are times when we "tune out" or lose focus, or our attention redirects itself to somewhere else then where it should be. Some folks call their ability "multi-tasking." A direct result or consequence of this action is found in today's scripture verse. Jesus stated to consider how we should listen,-- "carefully." Jesus simply spoke, "Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear." This kind of hearing requires effort, focus, a mental effort to process God's message. The blessing is that we will receive more! What is He saying to you today?
Prayer: Please forgive me Lord for not giving you my full attention to your Word and Holy Spirit. Help me during church service, Bible reading, and cell group to focus on the message and think about what you are saying to me. Grant me the ears to hear your Truth in the midst of noise and daily distractions. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
