Let Our Envy Be Put On The Cross
Envy not only demonstrates greed in our heart, but also a lack of trust in God. Such desires make us miserable, and easily lead us to other sins. The chief priests delivered Jesus out of envy. The good news is Jesus forgave them. He took all our sins to the Cross and forgave us. This is why God commands us not to envy others. God can provide everything we really need.
Prayer: Thank you Father Lord for all your provision. Holy Spirit, help me to be content in any circumstances I face. Please exchange my envy with your contentment in my heart so that I will trust in You completely. Amen.
