"HEARing" From GodSample

HEARing From God — through the Holy Spirit
This week we’re using the acronym HEAR to talk about four ways to hear from God. The H stands for Holy Spirit.
God desires a two-way communication with His children. It’s easy to spend our prayer time on personal requests, but harder to be still and listen to the Holy Spirit.
Many articles I have written have come from my request to God for divine insight. When I stop to listen, the Holy Spirit often reminds me of a passage.
Jesus said in John 14:26, “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”
When you pray about your work, give God some time to respond. Then listen carefully.

About this Plan

How do we know when God is speaking to us at work? There are a number of ways He gets our attention if we are patient and willing enough to listen. This lesson plan uses the acronym HEAR to describe the different ways God speaks to us.
