It is God who has placed apostles, pastors, evangelists, prophets, and preachers in the Body of Christ to equip and edify us.
Today, think of every church leader, elder, or person of influence who has impacted your life in the past year. Think about the sacrifices that church leaders make serving and giving to the Body of Christ.
We’re often very quick to criticize and point out shortcomings in our leaders but today, let’s be intentional about thanking God for them and praying for them.
Journaling Prompt: CANDLE
Candles get completely consumed while giving light to others. Leaders who selflessly give and serve are so much like that- they pour themselves wholly into the community.
Today, as you are expressing this prompt creatively, think about and thank God for every leader He’s placed over you — to mentor, guide, and lead you.
