Devotional: GOD’S PROTECTION
If you’re reading this today, you have a reason to be thankful. Despite everything this year has been, you’ve made it to this moment, unscathed and in one piece.
Somehow, it’s easier to seek God’s protection over our lives when things go wrong and yet fail to notice this same protection over our lives when everything is going right!
The Psalmist likens God’s protection to being hidden under His wings. When everything is going perfectly well, we often take His divine protection for granted. We must see how God holds us close to Him every day and shelters us from harm. It is in God’s good nature, as a Father, to shield and defend us.
Journaling Prompt: TREE
Today’s prompt is the word ‘tree.’ Imagine all the times you’ve been protected and shielded by God this year. You’ve been in the shadow of the Almighty, and it’s certainly something to be thankful for.
Use your creativity to express in your journal how God has been a shelter to you this year.
