God also wants to restore our hearts in this season. When we find ourselves in crisis, often the first things to suffer are our relationships. Crisis can put a strain on any relationship, but community is important to God. Restoration is not always a one-way street. God wants to restore our relationships, but we need to be willing to partner with him in that process. Not only do we need to keep talking to God, but we also need to be listening to what He is saying. In order for our hearts to stay in check, we need to constantly be bringing our broken hearts to him.
Questions:
When was the last time you checked in with God about how you are feeling? What did He have to say?
Is your heart tender and compassionate today? If not, what is one thing you can do to foster that compassion?
