Waiting Game with God
Psalm 40:1a
I waited patiently for the Lord.
Before meeting the doctor in the clinic, you have to wait in the waiting room till your number or name is called to see the doctor. If you are not patient and then you make a decision to leave the meeting room and clinic, you will not get the proper treatment and the right medicine thus your sickness will get worse. You miss out the chance to recover and be healthy again which will make you regret.
Waiting patiently means staying calm until the particular event happens. Waiting games might be boring, but God’s timing is always the best.
While you are waiting faithfully on God, your hope will grow. When you have hope, it is easy for your heart to make beautiful praise and worship for God. It is more meaningful to wait patiently for God and be blessed with His answer rather than using your own strength to find the answer which will lead to regret.
Prayer
Dear God, I am waiting patiently for Your answer so that I can experience the goodness of Your blessings in my life. Thank You for the hope I have in You. Amen
