STRENGTH TO STRENGTH 

Ok so we know it’s not good for us to be alone. God created us for relationship with Him and others. But that doesn’t mean with just anyone. 

I’ve heard it said like this before, “Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future.” We are influenced by the people that we surround ourselves with, for both the good and the bad. You can’t choose your family, but you can choose your friends! God wants to give you friends and wants you to choose friends in the JC Squad that are going to make you stronger, better, and closer to Him. 

The Bible is filled with stories of men and women of God who worked together to do great things for God and to see many people saved! If you don’t have friends like this, I want you to stop right now and ask God to give you some. He hears your prayers and cares for you! 

Jesus had 12 friends that He chose to spend 3 years with, and from there they went and changed the world. What amazing things could happen if we chose to spend time with the right influences? How could they strengthen us and how could we strengthen them? As you read these verses, ask God to show you who He wants you to surround yourselves with.
