His Love Endures Forever
Psalm 136:1
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever.
This chapter of the book of Psalm is very interesting. You can see that the sentence “His love endures forever” was repeated 26 times! It is written in every verse of this chapter. It means that this is something important to remember. It is important to remember always that God’s love for you and me endures forever. It will never end.
Try to remember the times when you say “thank you” to other people. It might be when someone gave way for you to walk down the escalator or when your mummy cooked your most favorite food for dinner. You say thank you to someone when that person does something good or helpful to you.
Now try to remember all the goodness and great things God has done in your life. It must be a very long list and you will always find a reason to thank God every day. The great things God has done in the past, He will also do in the future.
Try to remember His kindness as a reminder to give thanks to Him.
Prayer
Dear God, I give thanks for all the wonderful things in my life. I give thanks to You for Your love and mercy endure forever.
