The Big Questions for Middle SchoolersSample
Written by Beatriz, age 17 from Alpharetta, Georgia, USA
Think of something silly about yourself. For me, I make a very strange noise whenever I laugh too hard, and sometimes, my sense of humor can be a little weird. We all have things that we might think are strange about ourselves! Some are silly, but others might be more serious. Maybe you don’t like the way your body looks, or you have a hard time making friends. No matter what it is, the point is that there will always be things that make us feel different, and sometimes, they’re things we don’t like. But when we bring those things to God, God can help us figure out the truth about them.
It’s true you are perfectly made.
It’s true you matter to God.
It’s true you belong to God.
It’s true God loves you more than you can ever imagine. And it’s true that God has a big purpose for your life.
The next time you need to be reminded of who you are or what your purpose is, remember that you belong to God, and because of that, God is FOR you. Take time to journal your thoughts today about how you can live your life, day to day and moment by moment, for God.
