David’s story is our story. We worship the same God, and the God who defeated David’s giant will certainly topple ours. Nothing can defeat God’s glorious plan for our lives. If your circumstances seem overwhelming today, remember that David faced the giant with nothing in his hand but a sling. Just sling your faith forward today, and God will do the rest.
Lord, we surrender our giants to You. Help us to see how tiny they truly are in the shadow of Your protective presence. Give us courage to go forward in faith in Your name. Amen.
