Now Streaming Week 6: The Queen's GambitSample

The wilderness—a place of barrenness, desperation, and hunger—was a pivotal place in the launch of Jesus' public ministry. There He withstood the Devil's advances by the power of God's Word. Satan is indeed the tempter, but the Bible also calls him "the accuser of [the] brethren" (Revelation 12:10). Beware of his ways. He wants you to fall and then to kick you while you're down. He makes sin look appealing and even harmless, but if you give in, he'll beat you over the head and in your heart with guilt and accusations.
