Hope: Warfare Prayers & Encouragement for Persecuted ChristiansSample
Continue in Prayer
We should pray daily for God’s people all over the world. Praying is an act of humility because we acknowledge God’s divine power and strategy. It shows we believe God is the ONLY one who can help us win the battles of life. 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 (KJV) says:
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
We are ONE in Christ, regardless of geographical location. It is our responsibility to pray for our brothers and sisters. Our prayers will bring them comfort and victory. Hebrews 13:3 (KJV) says “Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.”
I believe praying for believers all over the world is one way to fulfill Matthew 6:33 (KJV): But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Every time we pray for fellow believers and that the message of the kingdom be preached with courage and unhindered by demonic territorial forces, we are prioritizing God’s kingdom in our prayer lives.
I hope that you will continue in prayer for persecuted Christians all over the world. Our prayers for them can transform nations.
If you are facing persecution, please know that we are praying for you, and someday we will all be together rejoicing and worshiping the God who always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus (Revelation 21:4; 2 Corinthians 2:14).
