What Are the Chances? Sample

Not unlike the Jewish people of Esther’s day, we too face an enemy who steals, kills, and destroys. Jesus is our "Esther", The Good Shepherd, who put his life on the line for His sheep. Jesus stood up when He could have staying in the comfort of a heavenly throne room. He is our Advocate and our Protector. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but God comes to give us a radically, full life. Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us, so that we would experience forgiveness and abundant life.  

When we walk in the revelation of His sacrificial love, we are able to take a stand for others and live in a way that reflects our Heavenly Father’s love and his good plans. We can live as those who do the will of the One who sent us.

Will you invite Jesus into your life and surrender everything over to Him?  What areas of your life need to be surrendered? 

Who can you stand up for and who can you reflect Jesus to this week?  

Pray for those who are seeking to kill and destroy the followers of Christ around the globe.  

Pray for believers in distant lands who are experiencing persecution for their faith in Jesus.
