How to Overcome AnxietySample
Have you ever watched The Titanic?
Do you remember what happened when the water began to sink into the ship? It sunk to the bottom along with the passengers, and never got to its destination.
In the same manner, your conscience is your "ship" or your integrity. When you allow cracks in it or begin to do things that the Holy Spirit tells you not to, then it'll be easier for the problems of this world to disturb the peace within you.
Keep your conscience clear.
If you ignore your conscience, it will shipwreck your faith. When your faith is gone, then it’s only a matter of time before your "inner world" is shattered.
Samson lost his strength when he compromised his conscience. So many people are restless because of sin.
The best pillow you can sleep on is a clear conscience. Without peace in your conscience, it is impossible to live in true rest and peace.
Harboring bitterness, living with secret sins, cutting corners, living in compromise, and trying to come as close as possible to sin without going to hell – all this will certainly make you restless. Sin will wear you out. It’s a heavy burden. It will hurt you mentally and emotionally, more than you can imagine.
He that loses his conscience has nothing left that is worth keeping.
Let's Pray:
Lord, I pray that You would help me to hear Your voice clearly. If You are trying to get my attention about a particular issue in my life, help me to let go of it. Help me to walk in integrity.
